Announcing: The Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum Endowment Fund:
December 21, 2015

Ross Bay Villa FINAL FINAL Fundraising Brochure PHOTOSHOPPEDThe Board of the Ross Bay Villa Society has established an Endowment Fund with the Victoria Foundation with the intent of ensuring an on-going income for the preservation and long term maintenance of Ross Bay Villa.

The Victoria Foundation was established in 1936. It allows other charities to build permanent, income-generating funds.

The Victoria Foundation currently administers funds worth $ 260 million, and assures that donor’s funds are protected in perpetuity.

As of December 10, 2015, the Endowment Fund has been the recipient of a generous donation of $10,000. The Victoria Foundation has matched $7,500 of that amount, so currently, the new Ross Bay Villa Endowment Fund stands at $17,500.

We need to add great deal more to that amount to ensure a long-term, permanent income to protect and conserve Ross Bay Villa. We will continue to fund-raise and receive donations to add to the Endowment Fund.

How to make a donation to the Endowment Fund:

Donations by credit card may be phoned into the Victoria Foundation office at 250.381.5532

Donations by cheque can be mailed to the Victoria Foundation at #109 – 645 Fort Street, Victoria BC V8W 1G2

To make a donation to the Operating Fund:

Operating Funds are always needed for the on-going maintenance of the historic house, the artifacts and the garden.

While the Ross Bay Villa Endowment Fund will eventually produce an on-going income there are current costs that also need to be covered. Heat, light, water, supplies and restoration materials all need to be paid for.

On-going fund-raising through tours, lectures, special events and our Gift Shop – all managed by volunteers – continue to produce operating income.

Cheques payable to the Ross Bay Villa Society can mailed to 1569 Gregory Place Victoria B.C. V8P 2T7.
Cheques over $25 will receive tax receipts. (Charitable Registration No. 8328 43734 RR0001)

Cash or cheques may be dropped off in person to the Society at Ross Bay Villa, from 10am until 2pm any Saturday.

Or, make a donation to the Ross Bay Villa Society through CanadaHelps
via Credit card; Paypal; Debit or Gift Card.

All donations through CanadaHelps will receive tax receipts from CanadaHelps.
