For people who care about the conservation of historic resources, and sharing history with our guests, volunteering at Ross Bay Villa might be a good opportunity for you.

A wide range of volunteer talents are required to operate a heritage site.

Volunteer making gift shop items from historic oil-clothVolunteers can assist in the following areas: Tour guides; tour assistants; craftspeople;  website people; event organizers; people with an interest in cataloguing historic artifacts; gardeners; photographers; woodworkers, painters; people to serve tea at special events; and more, are all welcome talents.

We welcome new volunteers, and invite people to visit on Saturday mornings to see what openings there might be.

Volunteer DavydRoss Bay Villa is operated by volunteers, and there is a friendly and cooperative atmosphere on site.

Professional direction is available for those willing to learn special heritage skills.

The schedule for our volunteer work at Ross Bay Villa is:  Every Saturday (rain or shine) from 10:00 am – 3 pm and, during the summer months only, on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.

Planning or attending special events may require volunteer time Tea server Volunteersoutside of these hours.
