Volunteering at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum
Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum is preserved and maintained entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers who have collectively spent 20 years and thousands of hours conserving, restoring and maintaining Ross Bay Villa.
For those who are interested and who care about the conservation of historic resources, volunteering at Ross Bay Villa offers rewarding opportunities. Under the direction and with the support of professionals, volunteers develop new skills while restoring the Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum to the 1860’s period. Everyone has something to contribute. Volunteers assist with maintenance, guided tours, cataloguing historic artifacts, woodworking, serving tea at public events, replicating period wallpaper, sewing, gardening in the heritage garden and much more.
The Ross Bay Villa Society welcomes new volunteers.
Join our team, where a friendly and engaging atmosphere results in new friends and the opportunity to contribute to an outstanding restoration.
Ross Bay Villa volunteers meet at the Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum at 1490 Fairfield Road on Saturdays from 11:00 to 2:00. We invite you to drop by and meet others who are involved in preserving and restoring this remarkable 1865 home.
